Welcome to the team, Damian Gornik!

We are delighted to confirm that Damian Gornik has joined the Centre’s business development team as a Communications Officer.

Damian Gornik will be working on the development and execution of both B2B digital marketing and communication strategies for the Centre, managing relations with the Centre’s business partners, and assisting the Centre’s business customers by providing guidance and support on available funding opportunities to meet their research and development needs. He will also be involved in supporting and promoting the Biophotonics@MTU project.

He has participated in four business acceleration programmes, holds a BSc (Hons) degree in Software Development, and is currently completing his MSc in Data Analytics, both at MTU Cork.

Damian’s interests and experience align with UN SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth).
